Yes- the girls are back home and doing well! Yesterday (Wednesday) at about 3 PM everyone was released from the hospital and had a wonderful ride back home. Now we are getting settled in. The grandmas are setting up a schedule to help us out and we are sure glad, because having twins is a LOT of work – and it’s only been 3 days! We feel so super blessed and we thank all of you for the wonderful emails and comments. It’s been so neat to see how God is using our story to show off his loving kindness. Even though much of the costs of the births were covered by insurance, the costs of our doctors was not. We got the best doctors in Santarém to do the births- not wanting to risk anything. Our total cost was about R$7,500 (about $4,300 at the current exchange rate). It’s still much cheaper than if we would have had to fly somewhere (in Brazil or the States) and have the births there.
