A New Day

Project AmaZon was born out of a missionary family’s passion for the lost. When the Huber family came to Santarém in 1976, there was a handful of small congregations throughout the entire, immense area. Village after village needed Christ. And so they began traveling, evangelizing different areas and taking Brazilians along with them, discipling as they went. Other missionaries come alongside, and PAZ grew. They had a big goal: 100,000 churches planted, starting in the Amazon Basin and moving out around the world!

PAZ always had a bigger-than-life vision. It’s because that vision came from God and His bigger-than-life will that ALL come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. A new day has dawned. It is one of a world-wide move of the Spirit not confined to a geographic region. A global harvest of epic proportions is underway. It is the final chapters of the book of Acts, and it is ramping up to the climax. The mighty move of God which has reached so many Brazilians is blowing across the continents.

While we continue with fervent passion to reach the unreached of the Amazon, God has raised up a mighty congregation of thousands of leaders ready to disciple the nations. In just our last baptism in Santarém we baptized 1,042 people to God’s honor and glory! Two of those people were from our cell group, Olcirony and Laney. In our cell group for over a year, we loved them, shared God’s truth with them, and worked with them until they gave their lives to the Lord this January. Now they are growing in God and His ways.

We continue to work with our disciples, their cell groups, the worship ministry at church, PAZ media as well as traveling around to minister at conferences and build churches in the interior. Life is hard work right now but also very exciting — and all as we prepare to be a part of a brand new move of PAZ in Japan next year. And if that wasn’t enough, in two weeks we’re about to add a precious little girl to our family! Everyone is excited and ready! We ask for your prayers for a safe delivery and blessed transition.

The same passion that burned in the founders of PAZ for the lost now burns in us as we look to reach the darkest places of the globe with the blazing light of love in Christ! If you haven’t yet seen the video I produced on our works, take a moment to see it. It is a combination of several passions: music, video, missions, adventure, photography and most importantly Holy Spirit Fire!! It’s the video at the top of the page.

And for those of you wondering where you can see more photos of the girls and some recent amazing trips, check out my instagram profile: https://instagram.com/natereutter. We praise God for all that He is doing around the world and we thank you for all your love and support. Without it, we couldn’t do what we do.

You guys are amazing!
Powerful video clip, even more powerful move of God!!
May you impact all 30,000 communities left there as well as the ends of the earth as you send missionaries from the Amazon to many unreached communities around the globe.

Love you guys!!! Ruth you look so cute preggers! All baby 🙂 Can’t wait to see you guys <3

Hi Nate and Ruth! So… just read your blog, do you know where in Japan you will be going to? Or is that undecided? I didn’t see a specific city named. Our church is sending our worship leader and his wife and their 4 kids to Tokyo. The Lord has been calling Seita and Emma Sakaguchi – Seita is originally from Japan. Anyway, I wanted to connect both of you families. Happy belated Thanksgiving! Love, Julie

Wow, that’s so cool! We’re going to Noborito, which is the greater Tokyo area. It would be great to get together with them and be able to meet up when we’re on furlough. We’re working on our travel plans, so maybe we can email you and set something up. How exciting! God bless
