March for Jesus

The March for Jesus this year in Santarém was huge and powerful. As Santarém is being won for the Lord and the number of Christians grows, so does events like the March. The March had a great turnout, and it’s amazing to see how God is using His church to win a city that even just 50 years ago had a handful of Christians. Take a look at these pictures. Family Update

Ruth, who was on bed rest for awhile, has now been taken off bed rest, much to her delight! All indications point to a healthy pregnancy and we just keep praying like crazy for continued health for her and the babies. A couple of weeks ago, I got a nasty fever – one like I’ve never had. At one point, I was in bed for 36-hours straight with high temp, nausea, soreness, headache – you name it, I couldn’t do anything but sleep! Some help I was to Ruth, who was on bed rest! ????? ???????? ??????????? 14 ??? ??????

It has taken me nearly 4 weeks to completely recover my energy. Praise God Ruth hasn’t got sick, as she continues to take it easy and rest. We’re so excited for the twins to come! We covet and are so thankful for your prayers and support. In a couple of months I’m state-bound!

Wow – so cool about the march through the city! Do you have any idea how many people were there? It’s so awesome to see it all!

Also very thankful to hear that you guys are healthy. I would imagine even the river flooding has had an effect on the climate and airborne viruses that are in the area… but what do I know? Anyway, glad you guys are doing well!

This march was one of the most powerful events I’ve ever been to. It was such a priviledge to be able to come to Brazil and see all the revival that is taking place. It was amazing – you could just feel the presence of God among all the people. I loved it!

WOW!! Gives me goose bumps just to see the multitude of people. “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.” (Eph 3:20-21) is what comes to my mind. Praise God!
