Our twins continue to develop so well, thanks to all of the prayers going up on their behalf! We just had an ultra sound done yesterday and Anna is a healthy 1.15 kilos and Rebecca a chunky 1.65 kilos! Praise God! We continue to pray for the growth of Anna so that she can bridge the gap between her and her sister. We also pray that Ruth’s amniotic fluid remains at a good level now that the babies are getting to be a good size. We want to see them go to 37 weeks (mid-November) for them to be super healthy and ready for life outside the womb. Let’s agree in prayer on all these things!
Meanwhile, things are busy around the house preparing for the arriving of our little princesses. The baby’s room is getting all in order, the upstairs re-arranged and even the hiring of local Brazilian help is happening! Ruth is even getting one of her wishes, which has been to air condition the downstairs where she and the girls will spend so much time. The air conditioning is being installed as I write this! The house is just about ready – and so are Ruth and the babies! ???????? ??????? ??????????? ??????
Leading Worship for MDA
I have been asked to play on the worship team that will lead the worship for the upcoming MDA Conference, October 20-25. This is a yearly conference where pastors and leaders from all over Brazil come to Santarém to learn all about how PAZ wins people for Christ, disciples them and then sends them out to do the same. This awesome privilege doesn’t come without sacrifice though, as we have 3-4 practices a week, starting at 9 PM and going to midnight! We are fasting these 21 days before the conference so that we can really be sensitive to God and be used by Him. We are also playing all 7 services at Central each Sunday in October so that we can get as much practice as possible. Be praying along with us for a great conference and that we can really gel together as a worship team, leading God’s people to His Throne.
We thank you so much for your prayers and support and praise God for the work that He is doing here in the heart of the Amazon. Until next time!
