Enoshima is beach a little over an hour away from us (by car or train). It’s famous with surfers for being the place with the largest waves near Tokyo, and we’ve been there a number of times just to enjoy the beach itself. In fact, right after we moved here, we even had a couple of baptisms here! But even though we’ve gone a number of times to swim, we’ve never gone just to enjoy the aquarium and then the island afterwards. This winter we had a one-day holiday and decided to do just that. Needless to say, we had perhaps one of our best day trips in recent history. Enjoy Enchanting Enoshima with us!
